Margie Nelson

Physical Therapist

I became a physical therapist because I wanted to combine my passion for understanding human movement with helping people stay active and reach their goals.  After receiving my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota, I have loved helping individuals of all ages recover from injuries and maintain their active lifestyles.  I believe everything in the body is connected, which is why I take a global, whole-person approach to treatment.  I enjoy partnering with clients to design programs that are tailored to their specific goals, integrating specialized manual therapy, targeted strengthening and neuromuscular re reeducation to improve movement quality.

In my free time you’ll find me outside running, skiing or adventuring with my family and friends. I am an active competitor in local ski races and have been coaching adults and kids in the cross-country ski community for many years.
