Physical Therapist

I was born and raised in Portsmouth, Ohio, and graduated from Shawnee State University in in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree, with a focus in Exercise Science. I was blessed to attend, and graduate from the University of Dayton Physical Therapy program in 2015, and since have worked in various types of PT settings, most recently in outpatient orthopedics.

I have enjoyed working in both clinical and administrative roles throughout my career as a PT, but have developed a passion for, and specialized in orthopedic/biomechanicial diagnostics and treatments over the past several years. I also hold certifications for Dry Needling, Cupping, Blood Flow Restriction (BFR), and have had experience working with college and professional athletics in my time as a PT.

I am eager to have the opportunity to work at OSSPT to be able to take on a new set of challenges. I look forward to being able to help assess and help the prevention of injuries before they happen, instead of waiting to serve patients with injuries that have progressed beyond what is manageable with self-care. I believe that being placed in a role that allows me to meet the patient where they’re at in their work environment will help me better suit their needs to the best of my abilities. I have a passion of helping patients and building relationships, and I truly believe that those things will be able to be at the forefront of my job duties in this role.

Outside of my work life, I enjoy spending time with my fiancé and two beautiful little girls, musky fishing, enjoying the outdoors, shooting, and am an avid fan of sports, especially Notre Dame football. I am also surrounded by an amazing group of family and friends to enjoy hobbies and take trips with, especially college football games and family trips to the beach!
