Movement Tips + Body Mechanics Tips

  • Materials stay close to the core to avoid feeling sore
  • Move your feet! Stepping or pivoting ensures your nose and toes move in the same direction and prevents twisting.
  • Use mechanical means when able
  • Test the load and ask for help if the materials weigh more than 50 pounds.
  • Have a plan and a clear path. If you’re working with a buddy, communication is key to avoid an injury.
