Ergonomics Specialist – Twin Cities Metro, MN

We are seeking an experienced Ergonomics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5+ years of experience in the field and a strong understanding of ergonomic principles, practices, and guidelines. The Ergonomics Specialist will be responsible for conducting assessments to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ergonomic assessments of workstations, equipment, and tools.
  • Identify and assess ergonomic hazards in the workplace.
  • Produce technical reports using standard documentation procedures in a proficient and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with HR, Health and Safety, and Facilities to implement ergonomic programs.
  • Provide ergonomic recommendations based on employee needs and best practices.
  • Complete data collection and detailed analysis.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and recommend new technologies.
  • Address ergonomic concerns and follow up on recommendations.
  • Professionally and effectively interact with a diverse clientele.
  • Able to commit to 8-10+ hours per week with potential for increased hours based on performance and project needs.
  • May require other duties as assigned.
  • The ergonomic specialist must be flexible to assist clients in various locations and take on new ergonomic projects as they arise

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as an Ergonomics Specialist.
  • In-depth knowledge of ergonomic principles and guidelines.
  • Understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in ergonomic assessment tools and software.
  • Familiarity with ergonomic regulations and workplace health and safety.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Ergonomics, Occupational Health and Safety, Human Factors Engineering, or related field is preferred.
  • Certification such as Certified Professional Ergonomist (CPE) or Certified Ergonomics Assessment Specialist (CEAS) is preferred.
  • Advanced medical degree, such as Physical Therapist (PT) or Occupational Therapist (OT) is preferred.

An Ergonomics Specialist is crucial for promoting workplace safety and productivity. Their expertise helps create efficient work environments that minimize injury risks and enhance job satisfaction. This role has no supervisory responsibilities.

Pay: $35.00 – $63.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week

Physical Therapist – Detroit Lakes, MN

We are currently looking for energetic self-starter to fill a contract position working for one of our clients in Detroit Lakes, MN.

Position Details:

  • 4-5 hours a week/flexibility is setting your own hours
  • Open to split shifts that cover 2nd shift and 3rd shifts – e.g. 5am – 7am & 5pm – 7pm, or 5am – 7am & 8pm – 10pm or a full shift that covers both shifts
  • MN physical therapy license required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour, which includes shift differential

Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week

Schedule:

  • Some flexibility in setting hours
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to Relocate:
