I’m an Indiana native who grew up in Northwest Indiana, also known as “the region,” because of its close proximity to the Chicagoland area. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2006 at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. I went on to achieve my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2009 from Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN.
My career has primarily focused on outpatient orthopedics and sports medicine. However, in the latter half of my career, I’ve developed extensive experience and a passion for working with the industrial athlete. I’m excited to be part of the OSS PT team and contribute to a revolutionary and innovative new market in healthcare—one where we can be proactive instead of reactive, especially when treating the industrial athlete. Everyone wins when we work toward the same goal of keeping workers safe and preventing acute impairments and functional limitations from turning into a chronic state.
When I’m not busy working with patients, I enjoy spending time with my younger daughters, especially coaching and watching them play softball. I also love playing golf and bowling, attending live music and professional sporting events, hiking, and traveling—especially to the mountains out west since I lived in Colorado for eight years.
