I graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Following that, I completed my Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mayo School of Health Sciences. My career in physical therapy began at Abbott Northwestern Hospital, where I worked as an acute care PT. During my time there, I served as the physical therapy liaison for the Safe Patient Movement and Handling Committee, where I focused on finding solutions to reduce work-related injuries and enhance patient safety.
Later, I transitioned to Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute as an outpatient PT, working with clients who had complex neurological, musculoskeletal, and vestibular conditions. I’ve also had the opportunity to work with On-Site Solutions Physical Therapy in the past, developing stretch programs, providing telehealth therapy, and working at various worksite locations.
I hold certifications in concussion rehabilitation and dry needling. I have a genuine passion for preventive care and education.
Outside of my professional life, I love spending time with my kids and husband at our cabin, riding bikes, and exploring the great outdoors!
