With nearly 30 years of experience in Risk Management, I bring a broad range of expertise, strategic perspective, and a passion for helping teams succeed. I earned my degree in Speech Communication from St. Cloud State University and began my career at The Hartford as a Short-Term Disability Examiner. That early experience—supporting individuals on their path back to work—sparked a lasting commitment to employee well-being and led me to specialize in Workers’ Compensation.
Over time, I developed deep expertise navigating the complexities of the workers’ compensation landscape, supporting both clients and injured employees. This passion ultimately brought me to Target, where I spent over 20 years leading enterprise-wide Workers’ Compensation and Occupational Health programs. In this role, I oversaw key initiatives including post-injury triage, return-to-work strategies, and data-driven analytics. I also designed and implemented an innovative early symptom intervention program focused on identifying and addressing risks before injuries occur—helping to improve outcomes and reduce overall workplace incidents.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and our two dogs, and I’m always up for a good road trip.
