- Have an active Physical Therapy license in the state in which the position is located
- Have 2+ years’ experience as a physical therapist

Ergonomics Specialist – Twin Cities Metro, MN
Are you a licensed Ergonomic Specialist or Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion for enhancing workplace safety and efficiency? We’re looking for an ergonomist or OT who brings strong ergonomic principles and a problem-solving approach to join our team. Your clinical expertise, paired with your ergonomic knowledge, will enable you to collaborate with both employees and management to create safer and more productive work environments.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct ergonomic assessments with a clinical perspective and recommend workplace safety and productivity improvements.
- Educate clients on proper body mechanics, posture, and injury prevention techniques.
- Collaborate closely with management, including senior leadership, to align ergonomic strategies with company goals.
- Work with engineers and managers to design and implement ergonomic solutions.
- Complete administrative duties, including documentation, record-keeping, and report writing.
- Provide on-site support at client locations as needed.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a licensed Ergonomic Specialist or OT with additional experience in ergonomics (preferred).
- Strong clinical judgment, problem-solving abilities, and experience working with higher-level management.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional and senior teams.
- Willing to train the right OT candidate in ergonomic practices for this role.
Qualifications:
- Current license as an Occupational Therapist in MN.
- Preferred: Ergonomic certification (CPE, CEAS, or equivalent).
An Ergonomics Specialist is crucial for promoting workplace safety and productivity. Their expertise helps create efficient work environments that minimize injury risks and enhance job satisfaction. This role has no supervisory responsibilities.
