After graduating from high school in Minnesota, I spent eight years on active duty in the army as a chemical specialist.  After being stationed at various bases in Germany, Korea and the United States I then transitioned to the MN National Guard and Army reserves and received my BA and MA PT degree from the College of St. Scholastica, in Duluth, MN in 1999.  After spending some time with Isernhagen Systems in Duluth, I had hoped to focus on work injury prevention, FCE’s, recovery and work hardening, but that would have to wait a few years as I instead delved into outpatient and long-term care.

Over the last 26 years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of settings, including acute care, LTC, TCU, out-patient, and home health.  I retired from the army in 2015 as a captain and a Physical Therapist, as I now work solely in the civilian sector.  I love having the opportunity to help people feel better, but even more I love the education aspect of my career.  I look forward to preventing injuries as well as treating them.

I’m married with two adult children and one adorable granddaughter.  Though I now happen to live deep in the heart of cheese land, I am and always will be an all-Minnesota sports fan.
