With over 25 years of experience in occupational therapy, I bring a deep understanding to the team. My studies at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee uniquely combined therapy and engineering, which naturally led me into the field of ergonomics. As a consultant, I had the opportunity to work with both Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, where I assessed workplaces and developed programs aimed at decreasing injury risk, improving employee education, and implementing ergonomic improvements that met ROI goals and boosted productivity.
In the clinic setting, my focus has been on treating shoulder and upper extremity injuries, scapular dyskinesia, balance issues, fall reduction, and work-related injuries. I also have extensive experience managing workers’ compensation cases from the perspectives of insurance companies, employers, healthcare providers, and employees. I’m truly passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise to make a positive impact on the lives of my clients.
I am a licensed occupational therapist and a Certified Ergonomic Associate through the Board of Certification in Professional Ergonomics. I also had the privilege of participating in two NIOSH studies and I’m looking forward to developing new research projects and presenting at a national level.
In my spare time, I’m currently pursuing my Occupational Safety and Ergonomics Graduate Certificate at Auburn University. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, traveling to new places, riding horses, working on my antique car collection, and exploring new recipes in the kitchen.
