Melissa received her under graduate degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, in Duluth, MN. After realizing her passion for physical therapy, she received her Masters in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary, in Bismarck, ND in 1998. She returned to school to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009, from St. Catherine University, in St. Paul, MN.
Throughout the years she has worked in a variety of settings, with orthopedics as her area of concentration. She has focused her practice of orthopedics to work related injuries and assisting injured workers back to work. Melissa opened her own practice in 2008 in order to provide on-site physical therapy, injury prevention, and wellness education at the work-site. She is passionate in assisting the segment of the population that ignores their health issues…until its too late.
She is married, has 4 kids, and spends her free time running and training for local 10K to half marathon races.
Melissa is a member of the APTA, APTA PPS, the Northwest Chapter of the ASSP and the National ASSP Ergonomics Section
