I received my undergraduate degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Minnesota-Duluth, in Duluth, MN. After discovering my passion for physical therapy, I went on to earn my Masters in Physical Therapy degree from the University of Mary, in Bismarck, ND in 1998. I later returned to school to complete my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2009 from St. Catherine University in St. Paul, MN.
Over the years, I’ve gained experience in a variety of settings, with orthopedics as my primary area of focus. Within orthopedics, I’ve concentrated my practice on work-related injuries and helping injured workers return to their jobs. In 2008, I opened my own practice to provide on-site physical therapy, injury prevention strategies, and wellness education directly at the worksite. I’m particularly passionate about assisting the segment of the population that tends to overlook their health issues until they become more serious.
Outside of work, I’m married with four kids, and I enjoy spending my free time running and training for local 10K to half marathon races. I’m also a member of the APTA, APTA PPS, the Northwest Chapter of the ASSP, and the National ASSP Ergonomics Section.
